Antitrust and Competition

Brito & Associates has an established Antitrust and Competition Practice that advises on all matters involving Mexican competition laws, including:

- Preparation and filing of approval of concentration notices before the Federal Competition Commission, including mergers and acquisitions which exceed the thresholds established by the Federal Competition Law, as well as required approval notices for participation on public bidding process to obtain a concession or permit in a regulated sector, and for approval notices regarding disincorporation of assets and restructurings.

- Client advisory on matters regarding complaints before the Federal Competition Commission, as well as statutory investigations carried by such authority against absolute or relative monopolistic practices (abuse of dominance and cartels).

- Advisory on pricing and distribution policies, and non-competition agreements.
