Our Team

Our team of highly qualified professionals covers a wide range of legal areas, from corporate and financial law to civil and commercial litigation, intellectual property, labor law, energy, real estate, foreign trade, regulatory compliance, and environmental law, among others. This diversity allows us to offer our clients comprehensive and multidisciplinary advice that addresses all aspects of their legal and business needs.

The team at Brito & Associates holds master's degrees and specialized diplomas from top schools in the United States, Europe, and Mexico, and has international experience that has allowed them to fully develop their areas of expertise. All members of Brito & Associates are fluent in both English and Spanish.

Our Founder

Germán Brito is originally from Mexico City. He received his professional law degree from Instituto Tecnológico de México (ITAM) and obtained a master's degree in Corporate Law and Finance from Duke University. He has pursued various postgraduate studies, including Business Administration, Marketing, and Leadership at UCSD.

Germán has over 20 years of experience as a transactional lawyer in Mexico, serving both domestic and foreign clients in various legal areas, including but not limited to mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, financing, real estate and infrastructure investments, taxes, and international trade.

He has gained experience working at law firms, banks, and companies such as Baker & McKenzie, Greenberg Traurig, JP Morgan, Santamarina & Steta, González Calvillo, and Grupo Aldesa.

In 2011, Germán founded Brito Associates, SC, where he continues his professional practice as a lawyer and pursues other legal projects.

On August 28, 2019, Germán obtained his registration as a Foreign Legal Consultant with the State Bar of California under license 00460601.
